Call for proposals - China Revelations 19-23 November 2026, Shanghai Exhibition Centre

Since 2013, Revelations is the must-see event that celebrates every two years the creation of international contemporary art trades in Paris. Designed and created by Ateliers d'Art de France, the main professional organization representing the 281 French art professions, this biennial is the major economic event of the sector.

Since its first edition in Beijing in 2024, alternating with the Paris session, REVELATIONS CHINA returns in November 2026 to Shanghai to reaffirm the economic and cultural role and positioning of the world craft industry within the Chinese megalopolis.

REVELATIONS CHINA is an event and brand belonging to the Art Workshops of France. It is organized by Global Ace, which focuses on intercultural events between China and the world; its main area of activity includes the conservation and organization of international artistic and cultural exchanges.

Leading platform dedicated to crafts and creation. In the heart of Shanghai, in the downtown exhibition centre, REVELATIONS CHINA presents the exceptional know-how, excellence and creativity of craft workshops and manufacturers around the world.

Sublimation of artistic creations through a distinctive scenography in a major location. After the first edition in Beijing, the scenography of the second session will take the form of a welcoming space, rooted in Chinese culture and meeting international standards, at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre.

As the main subsidiary of Shanghai Exhibition Center (Group) Co., Ltd., the Shanghai Exhibition Center is an economic entity specialized in the exhibition sector, created with the agreement of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. The Shanghai Exhibition Center is located in central Jing'an district, with Nanjing West Road to the north and Yan'an Middle Road to the south, giving it a rare geographical advantage in Shanghai. South of the Shanghai Exhibition Center, the exhibition area consists of Dome Hall, Central Hall, East Hall 1 and West Hall 1. The conference area in the north consists of Friendship Hall and East Hall 2.

REVELATIONS CHINA takes place in the Central Hall, which covers an area of 5,500 square meters.
