New Regional Fund for Contemporary Art - Artothèque in Limoges

An exceptional place to promote the dissemination of culture and the promotion of know-how

The Frac-Artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine (external link)just opened its doors to 17 bis rue Charles-Michels, in the heart of Limoges.

Installed in a former printing house rehabilitated by Jakob+MacFarlane, this unique place in France brings together more than seven thousand contemporary works of art from the Frac and Regional Artotheque. Admission is free, with participation free.

The public can discover exhibitions, borrow works, enjoy of a coffee-reading friendly where furniture was made with support of local companies labeled Living Heritage Company at the example of Argentat Seats (external link), J.M. The FRAC deploys an "artists and know-how" program bringing together contemporary artists and companies labeled Living Heritage Company, that will be presented at the beginning of 2025.
