More than 200 companies developed
The five years of work that allowed the reopening of Notre-Dame mobilized more than 300 companies and art workshops, and more than 3,000 companions and craftsmen.
In order to pay tribute to this exceptional economic and artisanal fabric, the CEO and the public institution have developed a dynamic and interactive mapping, which already lists 212 enterprisesof which: 25 certified "Living Heritage Enterprises" - a label that distinguishes the excellence of rare and exceptional know-how.
These companies come from all walks of life: crafts, heritage restoration, artisanal workshops, companies specialized in the accompaniment of construction sites, project management or major works. Some even come from other European countries. All share a common point: an essential contribution to the preservation of French heritage.
A tool designed to boost the economy, tourism and vocations
Available online, mapping has several objectives:
- Creating new economic opportunities for these companies, valuing the uniqueness of their expertise and facilitating the creation of new partnerships.
- Encourage vocations, by offering a showcase for crafts, heritage or the management of restoration projects, to young people as well as professionals undergoing conversion.
- Strengthening tourism attractiveness, thanks in particular to the 57 companies that offer open doors to discover their know-how as closely as possible.
The mapping will be regularly updated until the completion of the project.
