Pays de la Loire: 20 new companies distinguished by the EPV label

On Tuesday 7 April, the Regional Prefecture of the Pays de la Loire hosted a ceremony honouring the artisanal excellence of the territory.

On this occasion, 20 companies received the prestigious label "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (EPV).

Organized in the presence of several institutional and economic actors, the event brought together the SGAR Urwana Querrec Halléguen, the Chambre de métiers et de l'crafts des Pays de la Loire, SGS, the Pays de la Loire Region, and the Réseau Excellence EPV Pays de la Loire represented by its president Olivier Veriele, also head of the EVV SCF (Société Choletaise de Manufacture).

A label of excellence for know-how

Created in 2005 by the State, the EVP label distinguishes French companies with rare and exceptional know-how. It values those who manage to combine tradition and innovation, transfer skills and economic development. This recognition underlines both the richness of the artisanal heritage and the ability of companies to project themselves in the future, both in France and internationally.

A dynamic regional fabric

In the Pays de la Loire, nearly 100 companies now benefit from this label. They embody a singular entrepreneurial approach, where the preservation of traditional techniques is part of a logic of performance and modernity. These locally rooted structures actively contribute to the economic and cultural influence of the region.

Réseau Excellence EPV Pays-de-la-Loire fully mobilized

The Réseau Excellence EPV Pays de la Loire is at the heart of this collective dynamic. Along with the institutions, its president Olivier Veriele took part in this ceremony, demonstrating the commitment of the companies labeled in the valorisation of the know-how of excellence and their transmission. The network plays an essential role in bringing together the territory's EPV companies, promoting exchanges and helping to increase their visibility at the regional and national levels.

Transmission and territorial anchoring

Beyond the distinction, the EVP label highlights essential values: the transmission of know-how, the excellence of gestures, and attachment to the territory.

the labeled enterprises play a key role in the formation of new generations and the sustainability of sometimes threatened professions.

With these 20 distinguished new companies, the Pays de la Loire confirms their commitment to the craftsmanship of excellence and living heritage, which are the pillars of French economic and cultural identity.
