Atelier Jean-Claude Condi

Luthier's workshop, specializing in the crafting and restoration of nyckelharpas and string instruments, and the creation of artisanal bows

Based in Mirecourt, the historic cradle of French violin-making, Jean-Claude Condi was the first artisan to craft a Nyckelharpa in France.

Drawing on a unique expertise that blends artisanal tradition with acoustic excellence, he designs every instrument with passion, precision, and meticulous attention to detail.

The workshop upholds values of authenticity, the preservation of musical heritage, and bespoke quality. It offers limited-edition, fully customizable instruments designed to meet the needs of discerning musicians drawn to this rare and poetic instrument.

*The nyckelharpa is a traditional bowed string instrument originating from Sweden.
