Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat Grand Est

Strategic Facilitator and Advisor for companies seeking to obtain or renew the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (EPV) label

Their action is structured around four main missions:

1. Identification and "EPV Incubator"

The CMA has established a dedicated EPV incubator. Its role is to identify artisanal small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that possess rare or exceptional expertise but have not yet obtained the label. The incubator helps them assess whether they meet the required criteria: economic heritage, mastery of traditional or high-tech techniques, and local geographic roots.

2. Support with the Application Process

Obtaining the EPV label is a demanding process (involving inspection by the SGS, on-site audits, and ministerial decisions).

The CMA supports artisans through:

  • Structuring the application file: Organizing and drafting the necessary documentation.
  • Audit preparation: Ensuring the company is ready for the on-site inspection.
  • Administrative follow-up: Managing the process until the final certification is granted by the Regional Prefect.
