Claire Babet Vitraux

Claire Babet Vitreux is a master glassmaker's workshop specialized in the stained glass based near Chartres in France. Main activities:

• the restoration of old stained glass windows(notably on historical monuments such as cathedrals and churches),
• the creation of contemporary stained glass windows customised,
• collaboration with architects and Historic Monuments.

The workshop is recognized for its traditional know-how (lead, glass painting, fine restoration techniques) and also participates in public and heritage artistic projects. In summary : it is a high-end glass art workshop, between historical heritage and contemporary creation.
